Nice day at work. A new client. A favored client, color, chit chat. Sadly she's planning to move to So Cal, but it is for good reasons. I'll miss her but I hope I see her a few times before she goes. Wicked smart, adorable, deliriously happy woman.
I went to a Paella dinner with a group of friends. My close friend invited her friends and coworker/friends to a dinner hosted by her sons Water Polo coach while he was in high school. He's first generation Spanish, married with three kids, and three big dogs in a home that is Historical. Yes, it even has a name!
Anyway, bi-monthly he and his family host a traditional Spanish meal for 10-12 guests at $25 each. Sangria, appetizers, salad, entre, desert and coffee.
It was a lot of fun learning about Spanish cuisine, laughing with old friends, finally meeting 'new' ones I felt I already knew and having delicious food.
Such a nice day, such a great night.
